Born in Iran, Dr. Kaveh came to the United States at age thirteen during the violent upheaval that followed the takeover of his homeland by the mullahs. He watched a once-functioning, prosperous society dismantled through deceit, ideological fanaticism, and relentless gaslighting. Institutions were hollowed out, dissent was silenced, and reality itself was bent to serve power.
America became his lifeboat.
The path to citizenship was neither easy nor guaranteed. It required sacrifice, perseverance, and years of hard work. When he was finally granted the privilege of becoming an American citizen, Dr. Kaveh made a quiet vow: he would not be a passive beneficiary of this nation's freedoms. He would become a productive, engaged, and consequential member of the society that had given him refuge and opportunity.
